  • Beyond Code: Optimization of Technical Writing and Documentation Workflows
Forum >> Programmazione Python >> IDE ed Editor
I’ve been thinking a lot about the "context switching" tax we pay as developers. One minute you’re deep in the logic of a Python script, and the next, you’re forced to switch gears to write a README, a blog post, or even a technical proposal. Personally, I find the latter way more draining than actual coding.

To combat this, I’ve started building a more systematic approach to technical writing using structured LLM patterns. Instead of just throwing random questions at a chatbot, I’ve found that using tested, pre-defined "blueprints" for prompts yields much more consistent documentation and cleaner prose.

I’ve been digging through https://banana-prompts.com/ recently, and it’s been a solid find. It’s essentially a repository of high-performance prompt patterns that help bridge that gap between technical logic and human-readable content. Whether you need to refine a project description or brainstorm a visual concept for a tech demo, having a library of "proven instructions" saves me from that frustrating trial-and-error loop.

I’m curious to know how the rest of you handle the non-coding part of your projects. Do you have a specific "tech stack" or a set of prompt frameworks that you integrate into your IDE or workflow for writing?

Do you find that structured prompt libraries actually improve your output, or do you prefer more traditional documentation tools?

Looking forward to hearing how you guys stay productive outside the terminal!
